Thanks DB, that seems to clear up the "conflict of interest" question.

Hmmm all i see in thoes profiles is "conflicts of interest" Dairy farmers, Hunters, fishermen, cattle ranchers, white water rafters. Seems like almost all segments of Washingtons population is represented on the WDFW comission. maybe thats the way it should be. Don't complain about WT having a voice with the commission. They are entitled to one!

Read it again,, she is no longer a member of WT! actually been that way for awhile (says rumor) So your voice of WT is squandered! :p

Its great there is such diversity there but when one of those diverse sections that they belong to, decides to sue, they should take themselves out of the picture.
She (Pelly) had been separated from WT for awhile.
Guaranteed, if she had still been a member/BoD of WT it most likely would have probabally gotten pretty ugly and embarrassing wink

driftboater yes I realize that she is no longer a WT member. However i fail to see any reason she couldn't belong to such a group no matter what that group does...

Also the average angler is extremely well represented in the commissions decisions. almost the entire fish budget for the state of washington is spent placating the average angler!!!

I agree also Rob,,

but if that group decides to sue, then IMO (and many others) they should separate themself from any voting or decision making process for either group..

Would be kind neat to go from one behind the door meeting, then step across the hall to the others sides camp and partake in their behind the door meeting rolleyes

Thats the point and what the gripe was about but since she separated herself prior thus making this a non-issue.

Oh yea I understand the fishing community is represented well within the commission, thats why we are gonna get some more hunting people on board laugh
